My skincare regimen is barely a regimen. I do what I want when I feel like it, I spend 3 minutes a day on it TOPS, I get a lot of my products on impulse from Marshall’s, and honestly it probably shows.

BUT I really love this cream (that I got at Marshall’s) The scent is complex - earthy, spicy, sort of nutty, it takes me back to the rich leafy forest floor in a rainforest in Costa Rica - a very specific and elusive smell that’s linked to a few core memories.

When it comes to skincare ingredients, I kind of think a lot of them are bunk - I stick to Hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C & E, retinol, and AHA/BHA glycolic acid etc. but ritual absolutely matters, and a really good smelling product gets me excited about putting it on every time.
